I’m Bilal Tabba — the Founder and Director of Building Blocks — and my journey into early childhood education has been one of heart, curiosity, and purpose.

After completing my degree in Marketing and Entrepreneurship from McGill University in Montreal, I returned home to Pakistan, full of ideas but unsure of where to start. I spent months travelling across the country, meeting people from different walks of life — families in small towns, children in rural villages, and teachers doing their best with what little they had. What struck me most was how many children simply didn’t have access to the kind of early learning opportunities that could unlock their potential. It wasn’t just about education — it was about giving every child a fair start in life.

That experience changed me. I realized that if we want to build a better future, it starts with the youngest minds. So, I pursued a diploma in Early Childhood Education — not just to learn how to teach, but to understand how children learn, grow, and thrive when given the right environment.

Building Blocks was born from that passion — a place where learning feels like play, curiosity is celebrated, and every child feels seen and loved. Over time, our approach caught the attention of parents who wanted more than just a school for their children — they wanted a community that nurtures confidence, kindness, and creativity.

Today, I’m proud to see Building Blocks grow into that community — a place where little feet run in with excitement each morning and leave a little taller each day, in every way that matters.

Because at the heart of it all, I truly believe: when we invest in a child’s early years, we’re not just shaping their future — we’re shaping the future of our world.
